2002 Vermonter Poll Final Reports

Since 1990, the Center for Rural Studies at the University of Vermont has conducted nine, state-wide polls of registered Vermont residents (1990, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001).  The 2002 Vermonter Poll is a unique opportunity for researchers, policy makers, social advocates, and citizens to examine changes in public opinion regarding contemporary, and often controversial issues in the public arena. 

Polling began on February 19, 2002 and ended on March 1, 2002.  The findings from the 2002 Vermonter Poll are now available on the web.  The reports will include topics such as the following:
