What:  Information on this web page is designed to provide outreach ideas and contact information for publicizing the projects in which volunteers are involved in Honduras through the Vermont Honduras Partnership.

Why do outreach?

  Let the public know what volunteers in their community are doing in Honduras

  Promote the projects of the Vermont Honduras Partnership

  Increase financial and in-kind support to projects

  Generate further interest

  Recruit volunteers, donations, and sponsorship

  Announce meetings or events

Ways to promote VT-Hn Projects:

Write a press release for local newspaper

Contact radio/TV station for an interview

E-mail listserves

Put photos and stories on website

Local newsletters

Speak at local events (church meetings, Rotary club meetings, etc.)
