Emergency Preparedness

The goal of this program is to improve the capacity of schools, institutions and professionals
to reduce the loss of life and the economic and social damage caused by natural and manmade
disasters in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Honduran Department of Health and
Education have endorsed the program in concept. The Honduran Red Cross is also involved
