Natural Resource ConservationAnti-Burning SeminarLocation: This initiative is intended to improve understanding on the national level of decreased agricultural production and environmental degradation which results from the practice of burning in preparation for planting. The principal expected result is to influence government policy on burning so it reflects concerns for environmental degradation, reduction in agricultural production and risks to public health.
