Back to Table of Contents GOALS OF THE MIT COMMITTEE The primary goals of the M.I.T. Committee are to create and support information technology training for town officers and to seek coordination between the state's many I.T. training providers. The committee is also interested in developing and maintaining a list of recommended software for municipal government and coordinating activity among I.T. service providers including cost-sharing opportunities, outreach services, and other collaborative activities. Many of the M.I.T. Committee's goals are fulfilled through conferences and workshops.
