    Website Basics
This workshop will address some of the basics of how websites work and what goes into creating and managing them. Subjects covered will include some basic HTML, the role of web servers and URLs, using FTP, how to handle web images, and some security and privacy issues. The questions and needs of the audience will help guide the session.

    Website Templates
This workshop will cover useful ways to organize information on your local government website, highlighting the template used by GovOffice, a product sponsored by VLCT and used by a number of Vermont municipalities. Participants will be able to manipulate and browse an example template. You'll leave the session with tips for how to put all of the pieces of your website together.
