Center for Rural Studies

MUNICIPAL OFFICIAL EDUCATION

The Center for Rural Studies has been involved in the education of Vermont's municipal officials through various venues, including our E-Government Project, Town Officer Connectivity Project, and the Municipal Officers' Management Seminars (MOMS) and Town Officers' Education Conferences (TOECs) held on a yearly basis by the Vermont Institute for Government and the UVM Extension Service.

This is a collection of the presentations we have put together for town officer education over the past few years.  The presentations fall within a range of issues from using Census data, to producing town reports, to implementing information technology in the town office.  They are organized by year.

Most of the following presentation pages have been converted from MS Power Point and are best if viewed with MS Internet Explorer.  Once a presentation page is accessed, click on the numbers and titles in the left frame to move from slide to slide.
